Seasonal Performances
The celebration of the seasons is as old as humanity. Stories are a perfect way to focus our thoughts on the seasonal festivals and the passing of nature from one step in its yearly cycle to the next. Here are some of the many ways The Storycrafters enjoy celebrating the seasons with listeners through storytelling:
- Autumn - "Apple, Corn, & Pumpkin Leaves": A collection of stories and songs just right for the fall, with images of apples, pumpkins, and harvest dotted throughout.
- Hallowe'en - "October Chills": A collection of ghost stories to give you the creeps, the jumps, and the delicious chills of the season.
- Winter - "Winter's Tales": Stories and songs to warm the heart through the dark, cold days of winter. Can include a non-demoninational focus on seasonal holidays as well!
- March - "Tales from Celtic Lands": Folktales, fairy tales, and humorous ballads of Ireland and Scotland.
- Spring - "The Fools of Spring": Tales of tricksters and fools, and a celebration of the re-creation of nature as the world wakes up around us.
- Summer - "Catch the World by the Tale": A folktale-filled trip around the Earth, with stops in many places, celebrating world cultures.
